I love home. Each one of us used to rant about how we hate this valley, and we come back saying that we miss it. What’s here besides empty streets, that one boring mall no one goes to, and the feeling of being stuck in this isolated valley? The friends. The homies. Family. Yeah, you meet tons of people in college, but they’re never going to live up to what you expect to find in a group of friends because of your high school friends. Well my high school friends did that for me at least. They’re the type that you can just drive aimlessly with just for shits and giggles, the ones that you can hang out in a parking lot for hours doing absolutely nothing, and yet have the time of your life doing so, the ones that actually know where you came from and know where you plan on heading. Everything seems to be kind surface level in college when it comes to friends. Home, you’re a nice break from all this talk of “pbro this, psis that, when I was pledging this happened; ate this, kuya that.” Home, you’re more of a “true homies do this, aint no body messing with my clique” type of conversation starter.
I work 97234973 as hard as these kids at school. I wish I was naturally smart; I just try really hard. RAH
I think that someday you’ll need someone new, and you’ll fall madly in love not even realizing it
